If you're like me, your pets have become family members. When you can't be home for them, whether because of work, vacation or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That's exactly what I do at Christine's Pet Sitting simply because I love animals, all kinds. They are your pets, but most definitely my passion. It is important to me, that the care I provide for your pets is as good as I would expect for my own. I have been lucky enough to turn a true passion and love for animals, into a rewarding career.
Christine's Pet Sitting offers a multitude of services for a variety of pets ( services) I can also handle various home services which, by making it appear that your house is occupied, can be a crime deterrent. While pet sitting for a family in Westford Ma, I had arrived to find their picture window smashed out. Inside was a severely injured wild turkey. I phoned the Westford Police, made sure the cats were still inside the home
(indoor cats) and checked for any further damage. (True Story) Had I not been entering the home caring for their cats, their home would have been left unattended with an injured wild animal roaming freely. Fortunately, aside from the smashed window, damages were cosmetic in nature and both cats were FINE! The unexpected can happen, Not only do your pets benefit by staying in their own home, you benefit by having someone watch your property for you while you are traveling.

You won't need to dig out the travel carrier (s) and find time to drop off your pets, I will come to you. The consultation visit is free, it gives me the opportunity to get to know you, meet with your pets and to understand your needs. All you have to do is contact me, and I will take care of the rest.
Pet services include:
- Feeding (Per instructions) Healthy pets, over weight pets and animals with medical issues all have to follow some type of managed diet. Part of the consultation visit covers your pet's feeding schedules/routine. It is my goal to work within your pets normal schedule to minimize any stress associated by your absence. Even more important with animals that have specific dietary needs for issues such as diabetes and or kidney disease.
- Administration of medicine: I am competent in giving oral medications, shots for diabetic animals, SQ Fluids for those pets that have kidney problems. I can do nail trims and ear cleanings. Most importantly I am a qualified animal care professional who is skilled to care not only for your healthy pets, but for those that have medical issues and require more than what your neighbor or family member can provide. Simply stated, I know what to look for and how to monitor those pets. This is what I do.
- Litterbox cleaning & Yard Clean-up (poop management) While There During the time you have contracted me to sit for your animals, I will ensure that their litter boxes or the area where your dogs utilize to do their business, is kept clean.
- Morning, Evening and Weekend Mid-Day Walks- In today's world, in our busy lives little time is available to actually be with our family, relax and play. Call Christine's Pet Sitting to walk your dog mornings, evenings and weekends. Its a small price to pay in knowing that your beloved pet got the exercise it needed, and you benefit by having more available time to invest in your self, your projects and/or your family. - Attention/Affection in your absence: In the twenty years experience of caring for pets in the absence of their families, I have found that animals do amazingly well with consistency, predictability by maintaining routine schedules and lots of affection. They figure out fairly quickly why I am there, for them of course. On the rare occasion that I pet sit for animal that does not do well with a sitter (separation anxiety), it is my responsibility to notify you, the pet owner that a kennel environment may be more suitable. I love to pet sit, but it is completely unfair to the animal, if by remaining alone causes it more stress, than comfort. Thankfully, as pet owners you have options and I will more than forthcoming as to how well your pet (s) do with a sitter.
